From our earliest days of helping to pass the landmark infertility insurance mandate in Massachusetts in 1987 to our ongoing efforts to advocate for access to care, RESOLVE New England (RNE) has remained committed to advocating for the fertility community by supporting positive family-building laws in the New England region. We are also committed to leading efforts to oppose any legislation that would prove a threat to family-building efforts.

Currently RNE is joining with many patients, providers, and advocacy organizations, including Fertility Within Reach, to advocate in New Hampshire for SB 279, an act relative to access to fertility care. This bill would provide group insurance coverage for infertility diagnostic care, fertility treatment and medically necessary fertility preservation. SB 279 passed the NH Senate unanimously and passed the NH House on June 5th!

The Senate and House versions of the bill need to be reconciled, and then will be sent on to Governor Sununu’s desk for signature.

If you have any questions or connections to Governor Sununu, please contact Kate at Thank you!
